Position Overview:


The Senior Vice President of Sales will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the sales activities of the North Americas region.  Currently, this is a predominantly U.S.- based team with some client presence in Canada and S.A.. Reporting directly to the EVP and Global Head of Sales and Marketing, the role will oversee the Account Management and Direct Sales teams for the region.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with the EVP, Sales and Marketing, to provide an annual sales plan and provide quarterly updates and revisions to the plan. 
  • Provide guidance and consistent hands-on involvement in managing complex sales cycles selling Aventri’s robust suite of products and professional services to enterprise and middle market organizations. 
  • Work with the N.A. sales leadership team to manage existing and prospective SMB and large enterprise accounts ranging from $20,000 in annual revenue to $300,000 in annual revenue.
  • Coordinate the specific objectives of the North America sales plan with all of the functional departments of the company.
  • Work with the EVP to establish the annual budget and hiring plan for the region; partner with the N.A. Sales leadership teams and Human Resources in recruiting and hiring top sales talent. 
  • Build key customer relationships with existing and future Aventri customers 
  • Compile reports and presentations as it relates to sales goals, pipeline & etc. 




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • 8-10 plus years of sales leadership and account management experience, including a track record of success in large complex sales  
  • A proven track record and demonstrated success leading teams selling Saas /Cloud enterprise class software to enterprise and middle market companies
  • Experience hiring, coaching and developing a geographically dispersed management team 
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
  • Experience selling event management software, or working in the events industry is a strong plus.
