Position Overview:

The successful candidate’s role will be to work within the Professional Services team. You will be focused on developing and delivering innovative training programs to our varied customers.  We want someone who has experience developing/delivering training programs on technology platforms with the ability to understand a customer’s workflow requirements and align it with the software’s functionality.  The end goal is to have customers who are well versed in our modules to maximize usage and explore all the benefits the system offers.

You will be very technology focused, have a good understanding of, or willingness to learn digital technology within the events industry. It is essential you are a team player and willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for customer satisfaction.

This role will be perfect for someone who is forward-thinking, loves a fast-paced environment; who isn’t afraid of change, and who loves building from the ground up.  Fit with the team and the Company’s culture is imperative. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design training offerings and formats
  • Continually improve on training offerings
  • Deliver customer training, both online and in person
  • Develop customer relationships and assist with customer retention by acting in an advisory manner to ensure customers get the most benefit from our software
  • Stay relevant in current training trends, developments and best practices and update product offerings accordingly
  • Create, manage and maintain training documentation
  • Assist with the development of strategic plans and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • At least 3 years training experience in a SaaS organization with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs
  • Experience with traditional and modern training methods and the ability to facilitate training both in person and in a virtual setting
  • Experience developing online, self-paced tutorials, learning paths and training programs
  • Ability to develop and execute multi-phased, complex training programs with various course offerings, formats, objectives and learning paths
  • Ability to foster positive relationships both internally and externally and to leverage those relationships to drive results
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on project initiatives, multi-task and effectively manage time in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with web delivery tools
  • Knowledge and successful implementation of instructional design theory preferred

Up to 50% travel is required.  Travel will vary throughout the year depending on customer commitments and job responsibilities.
