Position Overview:

As a Mobile App Specialist, you will work with our high profile customers specifically supporting the delivery of their mobile app and other event technology requirements. You’ll need to have excellent project management skills, proven customer service and extensive knowledge of Mobile Apps or event technology.

This role will be perfect for someone with a technical mind and someone who thrives in the technology/digital space. You should have a strong interest in apps, digital technology, integrations, various CRMs and CMS platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Apply Aventri Project Management methodology to deliver and execute event mobiles apps for our customers
  • Facilitate discovery meetings with existing customers, document customer technical/feature needs
  • Assist customers in successfully creating and managing their event application
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations to existing customers on aspects of the Aventri offering, focusing on Apps & Smart Tag technology
  • Travel to customer events will be required
  • As required, provide onsite mobile app support/troubleshooting for our customers
  • As required, provide assistance to event attendees by improving their event engagement experience via the app
  • Plan and execute Smart Tag technology at our customer events
  • Participate in weekly production meetings
  • Research and determine event technology trends to help in planning and building best practice outcomes
  • Responsible for knowledge-sharing and training of applications to enhance team & customer capability
  • Flexibility of undertaking any other related duties

 

 

Experience/Education/Attributes (essential):

 

  • Minimum 2+ years experience with apps, event technology and project management
  • Must be able to quickly build credibility amongst team members and prospective customers
  • Strong project management, scoping & timeline management skills
  • The ability to obtain and show excellent knowledge of online software and content management systems
  • Recent experience working in a customer focused environment
  • Must have strong customer facing and presentation skills
  • Able to think outside of the box and troubleshoot
  • A can-do attitude with a high level of personal motivation
  • Advanced Microsoft & Outlook skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in accuracy is a must
  • Thrive within a busy team and effectively multi-task 

 

Strong Advantage (desirable):

 

  • Experience working in a digital agency
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS)
  • Previous experience using CMS
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery & JavaScript
